A: Punya is a sanskrit word and means: pious, auspicious, propitious, good, virtuous, meritorious, pure, holy, sacred. Like in real life, “Punya” on bhakti.today is earned by good deeds and spent by enjoying the fruit of deeds.
Bhakti.today is a decentralized community with it’s own merit eco system, that is supported by members rewarding contributors through their interactions with posts. As content is consumed, Punya is automatically donated to the authors of the posts we interact with. The list below shows how Punya is earned and spent. Read more here.
Q: Why are there more posts from certain Vaishnava groups on bhakti.today than others?
A: bhakti.today does not favor one group over another. Some groups or sites publish more content than others, therefore there are posts here.

It can involve multiple parties, each with different opinions and viewpoints, and may be fueled by conflicting evidence, values, or interests, sometimes leading to heated debates.
