(iskconnews.org) – Life-Changing MAN-tra Men’s Retreat Returns to New Vrindaban This Fall

The 6th annual MAN-tra Men’s Retreat will be returning to the Holy Dham of New Vrindaban, West Virginia, USA, Friday, September 29th thru Sunday, October 1st.

With an aim to empower devotee men to integrate Krishna consciousness into all aspects of their lives, the MAN-tra Retreat was conceived by H.H. Bhaktimarga Swami and H.G. Anuttama Prabhu in 2018. Every year the retreat features a variety of special guest speakers covering topics relevant to devotee men, as well as dramas, ecstatic kirtan, opulent prasadam, and other activities to facilitate meaningful sanga and camaraderie between the attendees.

Past events have seen around 100 participants from across North America and worldwide. Individual temples often organize groups and travel together. Bhaktimarga Swami noted, “At MAN-tra events, men speak about subject matters that we normally don’t discuss. The content is deeply penetrating, healing, and very enriching.”

This year, guest speakers include H.G. Mahatma Prabhu, H.G. Kalakanta Prabhu, H.G. Yadunath Prabhu, H.G. Dayal Gauranga Prabhu and H.G. Gopal Hari Prabhu. Some of the topics include “Women, Men & Maya,” “Chanting Good Japa Through Thick & Thin,” and “Out of Your Mind & Into the Moment.”

Besides the outstanding presenters, attendees can look forward to a live drama, “The Witness” by H.H. Bhaktimarga Swami, bonfire katha with H.H. Varsana Swami, enlivening kirtan with H.G. Gaura Vani Prabhu & Friends, and an exciting new feature: a group trek to Old Vrindaban.

Every day there will be an inspiring morning program in the temple with all the retreat attendees, featuring Srimad-Bhagavatam classes by some of our special guests and, of course, delicious prasadam.
