Appreciation of Sacred Art Exhibition – Bhaktivedanta Manor

[ad_1]

(krishnatemple.com) – Bhaktivedanta Manor’s haveli lobby was host to a stunning Sacred Art exhibition. The paintings, which lit up the area, were by Dhrti Dasi and Ramdas Abhiram Das. Using classic techniques, they capture the beauty, emotion and poetry of the spiritual world as described in the scriptures.

Many of their paintings have appeared in ISKCON Back to Godhead magazines and available for purchase from the Manor shop and other ISKCON sources.

Dione Angela Grimston, Countess of Verulam,  a British artist and former Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, marked the opening of the exhibit.  After been treated to a tour and given an introduction to the artwork, she exclaimed that she found it “…absolutely beautiful and fascinating”.
