Chant a Fixed Amount of Time Daily (Challenge)

Some of us take longer time to chant than others. Sometimes we don’t have our beadbag with us when we are out. That time we can count the time we chant instead of the rounds.

This challenge is for Chanting a Fixed Amount of Time every day, also known as Japa. Japa is saying the mantra as loud, so only you can hear it.

‘In this Age of Kali there is no other means, no other means, no other means for self-realization than chanting the holy name, chanting the holy name, chanting the holy name of Lord Hari.’

harer nāma harer nāma
harer nāmaiva kevalam
kalau nāsty eva nāsty eva
nāsty eva gatir anyathā

hareḥ nāma—the holy name of the Lord; hareḥ nāma—the holy name of the Lord; hareḥ nāma—the holy name of the Lord; eva—certainly; kevalam—only; kalau—in the Age of Kalina asti—there is none; eva—certainly; na asti—there is none; eva—certainly; na asti—there is none; eva—certainly; gatiḥ—destination; anyathā—otherwise.

To enter the challenge, comment how many rounds you will chant and for how long.
