A team of senior doctors led by the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ajay Kumar Verma, have been working tirelessly to provide the best treatment to the ailing mothers who fell ill due to diarrhea three days ago. Thorough health check-ups were carried out on all women, and Dr. Rachna Gupta, the nodal officer of the Health Department, also visited the premises to gather information on their health conditions. Additionally, Neeru Sharma, Secretary of the Additional Sessions Judge and District Legal Services Authority, visited the ashram to understand the entire sequence of events and provide necessary guidance on improving the women’s health.
Simultaneously, the committee formed by the District Magistrate conducted on-site inspections, interacting with the residents to learn about their health conditions. They also examined the available facilities, including food and water arrangements, to ensure that the mothers are receiving adequate care.
As part of the efforts to provide safe drinking water, two new RO systems have been installed at the ashram, starting Monday. The occasion saw the presence of top officials, including the Municipal Commissioner Kranti Shekhar Singh, Additional District Magistrate Administration Vijay Shankar Dubey, Dr. Bhudev Singh, and Assistant Food Commissioner Gaurishankar, among others.

The Ministry started the ‘Swadhar Greh scheme’ to provide such facilities to abandoned women. The purpose of setting up the widow home was not only reduce their difficulties but will also help them live a dignified life with a sense of confidence.
The widows’ home was constructed with an aim to mitigate the plight of widows living in pathetic condition in Vrindavan. The Ministry took cognizance of the shocking condition of widows living in Vrindavan who refused to go back to their native place or their home.
